We loved everything about this hotel. Our room was beautiful and we were upgraded to a room with a view of the volcano. The spa was lovely. All the staff were very welcoming and polite. Shuttle bus every half hour to and from Kagoshimachuo train station and conveniently located next to a tram stop.

Amazing view to Sakurajima, we were literally glued to the window 😄very comfortable bed, quality materials, enough packing space, spotless clean new room. Their Udon was my absolute favorite udon that I've ever eaten. Some employees can speak English very well and they were very kind and helpful. We enjoyed our stay very much, thank you!

Being new, Sheraton Kagoshima has the latest in facilities. The room we were in was spacious and had a spectacular view of the volcano Sakurajima. Best of all, it has an onsen that uses genuine mineral water with enclosed and open pools.

The room was very spacious for Japan standards, the foot spa was a great way to end the day and the breakfast was a good spread! Whilst its not centrally located per se, there is a free shuttle that brings you to and fro the main station so that's a bonus.

The customer service was amazing! My son left his wallet in a taxi and the hotel staff hinted it down from the taxi company and mailed it the same day to us in Kyoto. The onsen was very clean and warm. Rooms were large by Japanese standards and beautiful views. Would definitely stay again!

Very nice room on 9th floor with an excellent view of Sakurajima, friendly and helpful staff and good buffets. Also the shuttle from the train station was very useful

Bathroom ventilation (not related to aircon) was awfully noisy. We checked two other rooms with friendly and supportive staff - and moved then to another more quiet room- unfortunately in 6th floor (down from 16th) viewing a park deck

Don't think twice, it's an amazing hotel! My wife has gluten intolerance and the staff of the hotel was accompanying her and giving all the support to have gluten and lactose free food!! Amazing!
